2018 Summer Bible Conference

We’re pleased to announce our 2018 Summer Bible Conference!

Join us  as we hear Dr. Joseph A. Pipa, Jr., President of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Greenville, South Carolina, USA! Dr. Pipa will be preaching on “Christ’s Prayer for the Church” from John 15 & 16.

We will have two messages on Friday, 14 December 2018, at 7 PM; two messages on Saturday, 15 December 2018, at 9 AM; and Dr. Pipa will be preaching at our 7:45 AM and 9:30 AM worship services on Sunday, 16 December 2018.

Dr. Pipa is the president of Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Professor of Homiletics (Preaching) & Systematic Theology.He received his B.A., at Belhaven College, in 1968; the M.Div., at Reformed Theological Seminary, in 1971; and his Ph.D., at Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, in 1985. He has served as Pastor of Tchula Presbyterian Church, Tchula, MS, 1970-1977; Staff writer at Great Commission Publications, 1977-1979; Guest Lecturer, at Westminster Theological Seminary, 1978-1979; Pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Houston, TX, 1979-1990; as Associate Professor of Practical Theology and Director of Advanced Studies, Westminster Theological Seminary, Escondido, CA, 1990-1997; and Pastor, Trinity Presbyterian Church (PCA), Escondido, CA, 1991-1997.

He is the author of several books: Root & Branch, a study on the Person of Christ; William Perkins and the Development of Puritan Preaching; The Lord’s Day; The Westminster Confession of Faith Study Book: A Study Guide for Churches; and a commentary, Galatians: God’s Proclamation of Liberty.

He and his wife, Carolyn (Sissy) are the parents of two adult children and proud grandparents to a number of grandchildren.
