Our Leadership Explained

These are our church leaders. At Grace, being a Presbyterian church, we divide our leaders into three ‘classes’: Teaching Elders (also known as Pastors), Ruling Elders, and Deacons. We believe that these classes are taught in the Bible in Acts 6:1-8,  1 Timothy 3:1-13, and Titus 1:5-9.

Our Teaching Elders are full-time, paid pastors. Their work is to preach and teach the Bible, and pastor the people of Grace.

Our Ruling Elders are elected by the congregation to oversee the spiritual needs of our church. Teaching and Ruling Elders are equal in authority but different in function.

Our Deacons are also elected, and they see oversee the physical needs of our church.

Feel free to approach any of our Elders or Deacons if you have a concern, or want to ask any questions. You can also contact them here.
