Each week we focus our worship service and Grace Community Group prayers on a topic or theme. This week’s prayer focus is the gospel at Easter.
- Thank God for what he has done for us in Christ, through the cross and the empty tomb, to pay for our sin and restore our relationship with himself forever
- Pray that the gospel would give us peace for today and hope for the future despite the current trials and suffering we face due to the coronavirus pandemic
- Pray for those who don’t know Jesus yet, that the gospel would impact them in a fresh way this Easter especially as the coronavirus pandemic exposes human insecurity, fragility, and hopelessness without Jesus.
Each week, we also pray through one of the core commitments from our church vision statement. This week’s commitment is:
By grace, we are committed to grow together in Jesus through the practice of a presbyterian form of church government, as defined in the Westminster Confession of Faith and in the WPC Book of Church Order. (1 Peter 5:1-3, 1 Thessalonians 2:15)
