We have a number of Kids’ Ministries at Grace.
We believe that teaching children the Bible is one of the most important things we can do as a church. This is why we hold Sunday School during the second half of our morning services, for children aged between 3 years old and Grade 6. At our 7:45am service we have one mixed age class, while at our 9:30am service we have three different age classes. Everyone’s welcome!
During our 9.30am service, we have a special talk just for the kids. Kids will be invited to the front of the church for the short talk, after which the music team will lead us in singing a song with our kids, and then they can head out together for Sunday School.
Play Group is held in School Terms each Wednesday morning from 9:30am-11:30am. Parents with pre-school aged children are invited to come along for play, music and morning tea. We are blessed to have a great playground and great helpers which help make Play Group a relaxing and enjoyable time. For more info, please click here.
Kids’ Club is held on Friday afternoons at at Grace Church from 4:00pm – 5:30pm during the School Terms. At Kids’ Club, our focus is teaching kids from Prep to Grade 6 the Bible in a way in which Jesus is seen to be real and a valuable part of life. We also have a time of afternoon tea, play games, and do some sort of craft. Cost: $3.00 per child or $5.00 per family.
Grace ALIVE Youth meets every Friday night of the school term, usually from 7:00pm – 9.30pm at Grace Christian Church Buderim. We meet together to hang out, have fun together, and learn from God’s Word together. Occasionally we have outings or events where the location or time is different so keep up to date on the Facebook page and the Grace Christian Church Web Page. Grace ALIVE Youth is for anyone in high school. We believe we are made ALIVE when we are saved by Jesus and we can only live life to the fullest serving him. Come along and bring your friends!
Everyone who has contact with our kids’ ministries at Grace, in a volunteer or paid capacity, is required to hold a valid Blue Card and complete a Working With Children Check. We are committed to the safety of the children and families we serve, as well as to the integrity of the gospel message. You may also download a copy of our Code of Conduct, which all volunteers and paid staff are required to sign.
