Each week we focus our church family prayers on a topic or theme. This week, our prayer focus is for hearts set on our hope in Christ.

‘Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.’ (1 Peter 1:13 ESV)

• Thank the Lord that Jesus gives us certainty of future glory and joy with Him forever
• Pray that we would have the grace to look beyond discouragement, weakness and brokenness – in our world and in ourselves – to what is already ours in the Lord Jesus 
• Pray that we would encourage one-another to have hope in Jesus.

Core Commitment 

Each week, we also pray through one of our church’s core commitments. This week’s core commitment is to regular expository preaching and teaching.

‘By grace, we are committed to learn about Jesus through the regular expository preaching and teaching of the Bible.’ (see 2 Timothy 4:2)
