Each week we focus our church family prayers on a topic or theme. This week, our prayer focus is for migrants.

‘Love the sojourner, therefore, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt.‘
(Deuteronomy 10:19 ESV)

• Thank the Lord for the many different people from all nations that he has brought into our communities 
• Pray that lack of understanding, mistrust or racism wouldn’t create a barrier between us and our migrant neighbours
• Pray that we might have opportunities to show the love of Christ to those who are far from home or family, and invite them into a greater sense of belonging in Jesus.

Core Commitment 

Each week, we also pray through one of our church’s core commitments. This week’s core commitment is to local and international mission work.

By grace, we are committed to declare to the world that Jesus Christ is Lord
through supporting and encouraging local and international mission work.
(see Acts 1:8, Romans 1:11-13)
