Each week we focus our church family prayers on a topic or theme. This week, our prayer focus is for our plans to appoint an assistant pastor.

‘You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.’ (2 Timothy 2:1–2 ESV)

• Thank the LORD for blessing gospel ministry at Grace to the point where we need another pastor
• Pray that the LORD would direct us towards the right man for the job, and that he would provide the means and resources to support him in his ministry
• Pray that this appointment would serve for building us up in the gospel, and making us more effective as disciple-makers.

Core Commitment Each week, we also pray through one of our church’s core commitments. This week’s core commitment is to the illumination of the Holy Spirits.

By grace, we are committed to learn about Jesus
through the illuminating work of the Holy Spirit.

Please pray that we would continue to seek and rely on the Holy Spirit to understand and live out God’s Word, so that we may know and love Jesus more.
