Each week we focus our worship service and Grace Community Group prayers on a topic or theme. This week, our prayer focus is for Gideons.

‘“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.’ (Isaiah 55:10–11 ESV)

• Pray for God’s strength and enabling as Gideons seek permission to place God’s word in schools, accommodation, health areas, education facilities, prisons and other areas of distribution.
• Pray that God would raise up many more men and women to do this valuable work.
• Pray that Christians would pray often for Gideons as we present 250,000 Bibles in 200 Countries Worldwide each day.

Each week, we also pray through one of the core commitments from our church vision statement. This week’s commitment is to gathering for worship.

By grace, we are committed to grow together in Jesus
through regularly gathering together as a body of believers for worship
(Hebrews 10:24-25)

Please pray that we would prioritise and look forward to gathering together as a church family to worship Jesus, especially during this season of restricted gatherings.
