- For the work of Evangelism and Church Planting – Pray for Gospel witness in Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islander communities, that the Lord would raise up faithful leaders, and that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in bringing people to Christ.
- For the work of Bible Translation and Literacy – More than half of Australia’s Indigenous people identify as Christians (according to the 2016 census), although most have never heard the Bible in their language. There’s only one full Bible in an Australian language, Kriol. Pray for the work of recording Indigenous Scripture into audio for those who can’t read. Also, please pray for the preparation of special Bible workshops and resources for Indigenous communities.
- Pray for our WPC sister congregation in Brookton, WA, Calvary Presbyterian Church, which has a faithful witness in the Aboriginal community.
