Our Ministry Spotlight at this week’s services focussed on our ministries in local aged care facilities. Let’s remember to pray for those among us who are more advanced in years.

‘…even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.’ (Isaiah 46:4 ESV)

1. 1. Thank the Lord for blessing many with the gift of long life.
   2. Thank the Lord for the faithful example of many over a long lifetime of knowing Jesus.
   3. Pray for their faith in Jesus and assurance of his love to increase, even as their strength decreases.
   4. Pray for patient and understanding helpers and carers, and a willingness to receive help and care.
   5. Pray that we would honour and value those who are older, and love and encourage them in Christ.
   6. Pray that people would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, even in their old age.
