Each week we focus our church family prayers on a topic or theme. This week, our prayer focus is for our ministry leaders.

‘Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.’ (Hebrews 13:17 ESV)

• Thank the Lord for those who serve faithfully as ministry leaders, and for the encouragement and growth in Christ that we gain through their ministries.
• Ask the Lord to bless and equip our ministry leaders, so that they can do their ministry with joy, and with the encouragement of seeing those they serve grow in their love and knowledge of Christ.
• Ask the Lord to raise up new ministry leaders, so that our ministries may continue to serve the cause of the gospel well in our church family.

Core Commitment 

Each week, we also pray through one of our church’s core commitments. This week’s core commitment is to the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

By grace, we are committed to learn about Jesus through the illuminating work of the Holy Spirit.

Please pray that we would always prayerfully rely on God’s Spirit to lead us in understanding and knowing Him through his Word.
