Each week we focus our church family prayers on a topic or theme. This week, our prayer focus is for Religious Education in schools.

‘Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”’ (Matthew 19:14 ESV)

• Thank the LORD for the opportunities religious education still provides for the gospel among kids who wouldn’t normally go to a church.
• Thank the Lord for the RE volunteers who serve in this ministry, and ask that the Lord would raise up many more.
• Pray for CREP Sunshine Coast, that the Lord would continue to provide for their ministry and reward it with seeds planted and young lives changed by the gospel of Jesus.

Core Commitment 

Each week, we also pray through one of our church’s core commitments. This week’s core commitment is to unity in the Spirit.

By grace, we are committed to grow together in Jesus through the unity of his Holy Spirit.
(see Ephesians 4:3)

Please pray that our unity as the body of Christ would always result from the God’s Holy Spirit within us, rather than shared affinities or shared views on non-gospel issues.
