Prayer Focus Each week we focus our worship service and Grace Community Group prayers on a topic or theme. This week, our prayer focus is for our government leaders.

‘First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.’ (1 Timothy 2:1–4 ESV)

• Thank the LORD for continued freedom we enjoy to worship him and proclaim Christ
• Pray for our government leaders to be motivated in their leadership by justice, selfless service and truth, for the sake of the gospel
• Praise God for the many in our local and federal government who are disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, and pray that many others would learn to submit to the King of Kings.

Core Commitment Each week, we also pray through one of our church’s core commitments. This week’s core commitment is to ministry to one-another.

By grace, we are committed to grow together in Jesus
through the ministry of church members to one-another
(see 1 Peter 4:10)

Please pray that we would be eager to use our God-given gifts to love-one another, care for one-another, and help one-another grow as disciples of the Lord Jesus.
