Each week we focus our worship service and Grace Community Group prayers on a topic or theme. This week, our prayer focus is for Mothers’ Day

‘Upon you I have leaned from before my birth; you are he who took me from my mother’s womb. My praise is continually of you.’ (Psalm 71:6 ESV)

• Praise and thank the LORD for our mothers, through whom he gave us life
• Pray for those mothers and children who are estranged, that the gospel may reconcile them
• Pray for those women who could not or did not have children, for those who have lost children, and for those who have lost mothers, that the LORD would be their peace and comfort and among his people they would enjoy the blessings of being the family of Christ. 

Core Commitment Each week, we also pray through one of our church’s core commitments. This week’s core commitment is to gospel-minded love for our neighbours.

By grace, we are committed to declare to the world that Jesus Christ is Lord
through a gospel-minded love and concern for our neighbours in our local community.

Please pray that we would be an outward-looking church family, driven by the gospel towards love and concern of those in our local community.
