Each week we focus our worship service and Grace Community Group prayers on a topic or theme. This week, our prayer focus is for our church leaders (pastor and elders).
‘We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work.’ (1 Thessalonians 5:12–13 ESV)
- Thank the Lord for the leaders who has raised up in our church
- Pray for their personal godliness, and protection from sin and the Devil, and their growth in Christ
- Pray for their families, that they would be blessed, that they would be protected from Satans’ destructive schemes, and that our leaders would feel compelled and free to prioritise their families’ spiritual and physical care.
- Pray that we, as a church family, would love, encourage, respect and submit to them in Christ, and that we would make their work a joy.
Each week, we also pray through one of the core commitments from our church vision statement. This week’s commitment is to training for gospel ministry.
By grace, we are committed to grow together in Jesus
through training for gospel ministry.

Please pray that the Lord would raise up gospel workers among us, and that we would be eager to invest in training people for gospel ministry.
